Improv Comedy

I have been doing Improv Comedy since 1999. This hobby has become a great passion of mine, ever since joining the No Parking Players (NPP) improv troupe at Carnegie Mellon University. In general, I follow the improv philosophy of Keth Johnstone.
During my tenure with NPP, I was a member of the performance group from 2003-2006, acting as the Director during the 2005 callendar year. In 2003 callendar year, I was the head of publicity (Publicity Pimp). My work can be seen in the Design section of my site. During my term as Director of the troupe, I focused heavily on teaching improv comedy at the "open to anyone" workshops, and bringing new styles and formats of shows to the performing troupe.

In addition to my performances and directing work, I also worked to develop an JAVA improv game indexing and show/workshop creationg tools in 2005/2006. The application utlizes an XML format for all games, so that the program can easaly grow to match the needs of the troupe. One of the key features of this tool is to auto generate a HTML databse. This databse is currently in use at NPP's website. Click Here to visit the HTML databse.
