Art

Art has always been a pastime for me. Even as a young child I have enjoyed doing art, and getting dirty with paint and markers. Though I primarly work in the digital relm, I still get a great sence of satisfaction when I finish some peice of art, and I am covered from head to toe in paint.
Most reciently, I have studdied art under Fabian Winkler, a visiting professor at Carnegie Mellon University. I took two classes from him, "Electronic Media Studio 1" and "Electronic Media Studio 2." These two classes focus on digital art, the former being on still and interactive images, and the latter on video. I feel that through these classes, I have grown the greatest as an artist, both in terms of skill and understanding/appriciating art.
In addition to my formal art exploration in college, I also did some work using acrylic pain on tiles to do some explorations on both color and shape. I feel that this was a very rewarding experience. I hope to continue my work with painting in years to come.
Durring middle school and high school, I took the requisit art classes. One of my peices was selected for an art show during my freshman year in high school. During this time, I worked in many mediums including watter colors, pencil, ink, casting, and clay.
My more "formal" art training begain when I was quite young, taking many cartooning classes. Much of this work, however, is hidden away in my parent's house in NY. Even if I could get access to it, I don't know how much of this I would want to put online.
